I was born in the UK and raised within a musical family in Switzerland where I was introduced to the piano, drums and guitar before finally picking up what was to be my primary instrument, the bass, aged 12. My first 6 years on the bass were self-taught, playing along to all my favourite artists and songs. Being part of a few local bands allowed me to blend all of my influences into my own sound and develop my own approach to the instrument.
After 15 years abroad, I returned to the UK to study music performance at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) from which I was awarded a Degree in music performance in 2013 with first class honours by Middlesex University in London.
Since my return to the UK I have gone on to perform and record with numerous bands, artists, tribute acts and wedding bands all over the country. Opening for acts such as The Wombats, The Beautiful South and Bastille with original band Red Kites, performing on the biggest stages of the tribute act circuit to over 9000 people, and performing at countless private events (weddings, parties, etc) year in year out.
As of early 2018 I have been lucky enough to be touring regularly throughout the UK & Europe with legendary guitarist Albert Lee (Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris, The Everley Brothers, etc) which all began with a performance on the BBC’s one-off revival of the classic TV music show The Old Grey Whistle Test.
